Tamiya King Tiger

I recently picked up a used King Tiger from Ebay. Though the paint was decent, I wanted to make it mine if you know what I mean. A friend sent me a photo of a KT that I liked so I tried to replicate it. Here is how it turned out. First, the photo for reference.
And then the outcome.

As a side note, the large G on the glacis is enroute from a decal supplier.

Very nice - camo looks well blended.
You got the numbers wrong though

Yes I did, didn't have them though and couldn't find them. Believe me I tried.
Thank you Ad Lav for your reply.

Joe, you could have had a vinyl sign shop make you the exact things you wanted for very little. If your numbers aren't permanent you could still do this.

Thanks Terry. Yeah, they are just decals and as you know can be removed easy enough. I never thought of looking in a sign shop. I've been hunting decal stores online. I'll check it out.

Joe,
That is beautiful work! It's worth looking around a little more to get the markings you wanted. Following along.

Painless

Thanks PainlessWolf. OK, the three of you have me on another search for perfection. I'll see what I can find.

Joe,
Tao on the forum here just posted a thread ( without the link ) to a source who does custom decals and is in need of some tanks to show off her work on her site. Could be worth your time to ping him for a link.

Painless
