kv-2 turret print

currently im trying to build and print a KV-2 turret from scratch.
does anyone have those torro KV-2 turrets or tamiya kV-2 turrets? i would like to see the internal screw mountings for the gun elevator and how the are positioned.

Wish I could help Gigs...but my KV2 turret is resin...and I had to fabricate the gun mount assembly

no worries! i just got the photo measurements by doing a straightforward move. i took the gun's elevating motor housing and placed it on top my printer's scanner
blunt but i took finer measurements after that was done.

PS. They started the M1 photoshoot thread...not sure when Giant has you slated to post yours...but heads up...I think yours should follow ATC's

fine tuning elevator mounting
fixed gun's trunnion
segmenting turret body into 4 plates

I've just started printing a KV2 turret (main body printing now). I noticed that the HL turret ring doesn't match up with the rescaled 1/35 drawings.

and i am scratch building my model and cross referencing the screw mounts with the existing kv1 turret

slowly but surely and it looks like its ready to be printed.
many thanks to woz on helping me work on the base mount for the turret ring gear

finally started to print out the pieces
used paper clips for it's ladder rungs
printed the other side
front plate
printed a dummy roof so i can glue the sides in place without it being lopsided
non-drip superglue gel dried in place
testing on the hull for size
using an old sample of my ooooooold Test turret of KV-2.
