At first I wasn't real sure where to post this (as usual) but I figure since it's a brand new product and will be of interest to a lot of guys this is the best place for it. I always try to keep my videos as short as I can so most of these are around 2 minutes. Hopefully it will provide some useful info to those that are interested in this product.

I'll post another video once it's painted and installed on the S33.

Gary, looks great. One question, how is the recoil servo controlled by the Taigen board ? Is it a normal servo or rigged for the Taigen MFU ?

There's a small board in the turret that activates the servo.

They're $100 US for plastic, $180 for metal early and $190 for metal mid and late. You get them from the Imex Model Company, here's the link for the one I got, and you can get to the metal ones from there also.

I think it will work well with the Asp pretty much like it is, as that also uses the trigger switch to trip cannon sound and it doesn't have to kill power to eliminate track recoil, but if the TG board gives me trouble the Asp is set up to operate a normal servo as well, just like you would use for an IR tank.

I really think this is a major step forward for airsoft tanks, and I know Imex has plans to incorporate this feature into many more tanks than just the Tiger, but you guys know how it is, the Tiger is always the guinea pig and always the first to try out new things, probably because it's the bread and butter money maker. But personally I can already see how easy it would be to adapt this to the M41 and M26. I'd buy airsoft turrets for both those tanks in a heartbeat.

One bad thing I can see is that I don't think this will work with an IBU without some major rewiring. The IBU doesn't make use of the recoil switch so I don't see how it could trip the servo. Then again, I'm still a babe in the woods with this stuff so maybe someone more experienced than I will be able to figure it out. Clark came out with barrel recoil for IR Shermans, I wonder if I could adapt that for airsoft? I'm planning to order a new Sherman pretty soon.

Works fine with IBU with only minor rewiring, all details are in manual 5.2 available from download section of my website. Although better route is ditch the taigen servo controller and connect servo directly to the IBU servo port that way can adjust the settings.

No, they don't. I tried to get Erik to sell it to me when it released. lol

Can't wait to see it in action on the S33, Gary!
