1944 Sturmtiger Research

A week or so ago, I was speaking with a close friend on the Board here. He had contacted me some time before about whether or not I would be interested in ever building a Sturmtiger. I had mentioned then that I had a spare Tiger 1 that could be donated towards such a build and one thing has led to another. ;o) One of the Spring Builds for next year is already underway in research phase. I received my Friend's excellent Imperial Modelbau Sturmtiger kit in the mail this weekend past. I sat down yesterday when I had a quiet hour to see what was in the kit and take some photos. This thing is amazing and will offer an amount of realism that I would have to add to any rtr Taigen or Torro Sturmtiger. I can already see that a Taigen metal lower will work best for space and attaching the included late war wheels and Impact tracks. Sass, thank you again. ;o) Pics:

Good evening,
John, I am really anticipating building that jewel of a tracked gun. ;o) Ed, Alpha got to it before me. I apologize, was putting out the All Hallows Eve decorations. *chuckles*
regards,
Painless

Do you get a lot of visitors on Halloween Painless....dress your tanks up and have some fun with them...heck you could put one of those foam Jack O Lanterns on one...if they run...shoot them
Trick or Treat right

Alpha-Matic,
Our neighborhood is full of kids. Often the enterprising little ruffians will make the rounds, go home, swap costumes and come back out again. I'm not interested in the Hurly-Burly of neighborhood yard decoration contests. Our set up is pretty mainstream and only seems to frighten the very youngest of our visitors. *chuckles* And no, I wouldn't trust my tanks out at night around children stampeding from house to house. ;o)
regards,
Painless
