Could please somebody explain me the difference between Tamiya Tiger I full-options kit numbers?
I've found 3 different numbers so far...

56009 fully-blown internal Japan kit with the remote?
56010 same as above without the remote for outside of Japan?
84273 same as above (upgraded 56010) with metal barrel, Photo-Etched Grille Set and some extra parts, recently discontinued?

All remoteless kits need a remote Futaba Attack T4VWD? What is it 2.4Ghz? It does not seem to be widely available in US - what else would work? For example Futaba Skysport 4YF is widely available.
I'd imagine that they all come with DMD 03 control and MF blocks? What about metal tracks and tentioners?

84273 was limited edition. Stock ran out over a year ago. 56009 and 56010 are the same except the controller. You can use any 4 channel controller and appropriate radio with the kit.

Yes, they all come with the same DMD and MF, tensioner is standard, all tamiya kits have some kind of tensioner. The Tiger one is adequate - enough that Taigan just copied it directly. They don't come with metal tracks.

If you want a 56009 you can get one from Hobby Link Japan or if you shop around in the far east. Might even get a kit cheaper there as well. Get quite allot stuff from Hong Kong, Japan and Singapore these days so long as they do FedEx air freight. UPS is a waste of space.

That's about it for the kits, as people above have stated. From a radio perspective, if you don't get the 58009 kit with the included radio, rcmart have the Futaba 4YWD which is designed for tanks and trucks. It has the self centering sticks which most air radios don't have, although most can be converted. The 4YWD has analog trims as well, it's main problem (for me anyway) is that it has no multiple model memory.
I got the 58009 kit from banzai because it was the easiest option. I am not sure if the 58010 has batteries included but 58009 has a pair of batts included.

I'vejust checked Banzai but it's very hard to navigate. They don't seem to have categories for tank and I have to scroll endlessly past Yokomo cars first to get anywhere so I gave up!
