Ok what the heck!?!? I ordered my 251 tracks and they were listed as 60 Euro's, then I go to the check out and they're 70 Euro's, then I order them via Paypal and they're 82 Euro's!?!?! Christ sake had I waited another 30 seconds to order them they would have been over 100 Euro's as fast as the price was going up! What the hell? I'm going to email them tomorrow and see if they can fix this cause with the shipping and the exchange rate they're over $110 dollars U.S.!
NOT COOL Asiatam! Makes me not want to shop with you if you can't figure out your prices and then jack them up by 22 Euros by the time I check out, NOT cool at all!!

jack, they should also be refunding you 19% VAT since you are buying from outside EU. Asiatam won't do it unless you asked them. rctank.de will do it automatically for anything over 50 euro.

I'm not sure why your seeing that, I just went on the asiatam site and they were 75 euro, and stayed like that to the final stage of checkout. Could the extra have been postage?

Michael, thank you I'll include that on my email.
Tom, I know, now they're listing at 75 Euros. I have no idea what the deal is with the pricing but I'm going to ask. The worst they can say is tough cookies.

Good Morning,
I buy from overseas Vendors a lot because that is just the State of the Hobby now. I've found that while China has the most reasonable shipping rates, time takes the longest. Australia's Oz Armor and Tank Army have some great deals on hard to find stuff but the shipping is penurious to the States regardless of what you buy. England has my favorite Vendors with ForgeBear and Welsh Dragon. The shipping goes up along with the size of the parcel so as Dave once said, "it's better to order complete tanks from within the States". Shipping is quick, usually here within the week. Germany has a couple of Favs as well, RCTank.de where the prices can be steep for items as well as shipping but it's all laid out clearly so you know before hand what you are getting into. An-Bri-RC has the best rates on shipping from Germany and some of the hardest to find small parts and details. Asiatam has stock that will work with Taigen and HL as well as Tamiya. Their shipping is the weirdest to comprehend but is generally on the same rate as RCTank.de. Other sites like Tank Modelbau and Juckenburgs Armor are out there and the shipping rates seem to be commensurate with time and price like the two favs mentioned. Axel's Modelbau is the same but a God Send for Tamiya tankers. Sites like ETO Armor have a U.S. warehouse but if the parts are not in stock, expect a lengthy wait time. Same with Mato Mart as most anything not in Canada will ship from China then. Sorry for the wall o' text but these have been my general experiences. The summation is that if a U.S. Hobby site like Artistic or IMEX doesn't have it in stock, prepare to search and get ready to pay for Shipping.
regards,
Painless

The shipping cost I understand and it's just the way it is. My issue was the base price jumping 22Euros! Not to mention they did charge me VAT tax which they shouldn't have. I'll be emailing them as soon as I get home to at least get the 19% VAT tax refunded.

110% with Painless. My experience it exactly the same. The only thing is that the 19% VAT saving usually cancels out the shipping cost from Germany so what you see is what you pay in euro all in basically. Dominique also told me that they need 50 euro+ to do the VAT paperwork otherwise it is not worth it. I am also pretty sure that Welsh Dragon already has the VAT discounted on their pricing but you can check with them first. Asiatam I know for sure won't do it unless you ask for it.

Hmmmm.... They emailed me back and said I was not charged tax. My math must have been wrong during the conversion from $ to €.
They responded with in minutes of my Sending them an email and checked for me. I apologized for my error and thanked them for double checking for me.
Very fast customer service and support! Very impressive!
As for the price changing the only thing I can think is I must have done something wrong or the language translator did, its the only thing that makes any sense.
