Well guys been awhile since i started a new project but i have now started, what im gonna do is another early panther, utilising same idea as before modifying panther g stuff and a pantiger turret as i have some lying around in spares box. this time its gonna be a panther ausf D with the tiger 1 type turret launchers, found some drawings on net to help with it.ive made a start on turret and hull will post some pics soon.

Hi Alpha buddy yes been a little since ive done a complete build, always wanted to do a panther d to add to panther collection and had a spare taigen pantiger complete so hence start of a new build. ive also used bottom half of pantiger to start another tiger 1 as i had a spare deck and turret for a tiger 1. but this i might just do a basic build and sell on. anyway heres the panther d ive started on turret and ripped apart a g rear panel and changed exhaust stacks, all looking rough at moment but at least its started. Need to change barrel on turret and redo weld lines as well not happy with lines i did at base of cuppola, so far on turret ive shaved turret and got rid of all g ports etc and added applicable to a d panther and added a modified tiger 1 cuppola as its very similar just different viewing slots and hatch, heres pics anyway





as i said its still looking rough and a long way to go but hey thats half the fun isnt it

Sat in the cupboard untouched while I gather up paints etc hopefully starting next weekend!!

You're really getting some work done on this one Tiger....I do remember the last time we spoke...that you had a bunch of spare parts...it's nice when you can find a project you can direct that too..... I'll probably do the same...Dgsselkirk posted a Japanese Chi Nu....so after my M1...I'm going to do some scrounging in my parts box too lol

the old pantiger ive used the turret from, and bottom half has been used for a tiger 1 . It was a taigen with metal tracks and gears these were swopped into another tiger 1 i have so it really was a bitsa for other projects.

You don't want to see what's left of one of my Pantigers lol...if you look at my M1 build...all the green plastic came from it's hull
Still have two more I can chop up lol
