Hi all
Just starting out in r/c tanks as I have had to give up work due to I'll health and couldn't think of anything better than scale models to keep the bordom away. Just received my first model a panther metal upgrade version and was impressed until I tried to get her running as the turret would not work.
I found that the lead was plugged into wrong connector and a wire had come off the turret motor.as it was a new model I would not expect to find that type of problem but I suppose it is all a learning curve and you also get to know the tank better.also not impressed with instruction manual as it took me half a day working out how to get body off. Anyway tthat'sthe moaning done iI would like to improve and upgrade likes of inner workings motherboard etc so any help and suggestions would be gratefully received. Regards to all rdobbins2 out

Hello and welcome to the forum.
The quality control on the heng long tanks is suspect and faulty tanks do get sent out now and again. The instruction aren’t much use, badly translated and only covers the basics.
Anyway sounds like you’re like the rest of us happy to get your hands dirty and get the bad boy pimped up so you’ve come to the right place.

This happens to all brands of tanks...it's pretty common for a wire to work loose or what not...reason it's always good to give it a once over when you receive it...if the tank is still new...I would contact your seller and maybe send it back for a replacement...if you have had it for awhile...fixing the problem isn't too hard...
Think we need to know more though as sometimes connections differ from brand to brand

Thanks for replying chaps but where I got it from I have read on line that customer aftercare is very bad,and also sending it back means nothing to tinker about with. I am now going to look at the forums and see what advice I can get speak soon regards rdobbins2

If your tank is a Heng Long...and it has the new plug in connector...with the long plug facing away from you the plug for the rotation should be the last one to your right...soldering the wire end should be easy enough...there is only pos and neg to deal with
