Some of the work done...simplifying the turret...took a note from Green's book of tricks...and removed the SEP ....just looks cleaner that way

No photos of the process...as they would look similar to Giant's ...basically I used a power chisel to take the SEP off
saved that for the smoker hook up
Patched the hole with scrap HL plastic and re-sculpted the box and the surface of the turret
very little powdered plastic filler used
Still need to redo the weld detail...photos of that to follow after that process is done

Keep your fingers crossed for me Jack

...Paint suggestions welcome...no Pink on this one though it's a SAUNDERS Tank
So the choices would be Dessert tan (not sure about this as it might resemble a Kuromorimine vehicle) ...solid green...or NG green camo

NG green camo. It fits the school better and is a rarer scheme.

Got some work done...
this was previous....the smoker diffuser/baffle an old design of mine that I've used in all of my remake tanks
recycled the SEP unit...it fit over the two holes...which where joined by removing the plastic between them ...leaving a large rectangle...allowing a free flow wide spread smoke pattern ....similar to Green's set up ..but different

...everything is internal...no external mods needed

After some research...found there isn't a weld in front of the SEP....but a conduit covered by angle iron...so I simulated that

Let's say I went to town here lol...cleared all the molded on grill work...Those who own this HL...if you notice under the deck ....there are molded dots where the holes for the pre-filter baffling are located....HL thought ahead on this...I'm guessing they knew modellers would want a nicer effect after working on the tank
I'm liking this tank so far...there's some work to be done...but not bad in comparison to what I've been doing lately ...progress is pretty fast...think all the little handles will slow me down a tad though

Kei can't wait
