I have to admit...that was very much like me in the early days :{ ....But after salvaging 8 tanks out of a box of 12 junkers... became well acquainted with the little nuances that make these things run...also the weaknesses and their strengths :D

I still consider myself a novice...learning new things everyday... :D

Thanks for the Blast to the Past Kaiser

Hey...I'm not going to deny I was a klutz when I started...at that time I was more into Airsoft ...did techwork for a friend of mine who owned a toy store...never thought I was ever going to get into RC tankery till he closed that shop and became a restaurateur...A series of events led me to this point..the first was GIRLS UND PANZER...at that time in the back defect box of the shop there was a PanzerIII ..Tiger and a PanTiger amongst some Pershings .. never ever touched them...but the GUP series inspired me... bought the Panzer III just for the heck of it... and repaired it....then the Tiger...the PanTiger...It was fun... :D ...People would turn and look when I tested and played with them in the store and on the sidewalk...I then bought the last remaining JagdPanther...and before the store closed...the rest of the junk box :D
Wasn't a member of the board then...when I did join...had a pretty good background already ...found many had problems I had...so I helped them as I had found many solutions others here couldn't suggest...as when I did my repairs...didn't know there were so many shops out there with spare parts and what not...did it all with common sense...a little design skill ;)
With that said...what I also found here were some really good Teachers...Teachers who inspired me to go back and grasp techniques I have long given up to other interests
So I don't mind the blast to the past....anyone who would is either a fibber...or full of themselves...No one is born a Pro..or even an amateur...things have to be taught ...learned ...and the most important...practiced

Carpe Diem Kaiser

I do
