Kiaser we have spoken about this before and I really have not found any specialist tool which is recommended for Photo-Etch which cannot be substituted quite easily and effectively by other more readily available (And Cheaper) Tools with the exception of the TAMIYA Photo-Etch Pliars that you illustrate,
I imagine that most of us have access to a Bench vice and I find that using that with the PE pliars and a pack of mini grips as well as some exacto blades leaves me able to solve most PE work and of course the ever helpful Pin Vise which is near the top of my list of essential tools along with my Dremel. shaun

DGS I have owned one for a long time and it causes me more irritation than if I had never seen it, Almost certainly caused by my incompetence, I manage very well without.
Kiaser I prefer a Butane torch, but the most helpful suggestion has to be "Ed panzer's shaun

The only things I use for photo etch, standard solder and soldering iron, Stanley knife, smaller knife, long nosed pliars and bull nosed pliars for longer pieces. The only thing I lack sometimes is a way of bending really long parts like the triangular bit on top of the Panther barel cleaning rod holder.
