What happened last week changed the game...found a listing on EBAY I couldn't resist
I've Been waiting patiently for HENG LONG to improve the production of this tank...in less than a year...
THE PRO VERSION OF THE M1A2 ABRAMS
First the box...........
The new gen controller is fantastic...performs very well...the best thing is ..it uses two less batteries than the
First Gen Crystal units...and the 1st and 2ng Gen 2.4 gig rigs
The new versions that will be available...not sure which one I have...think it's the MZ version with the white metal gears
The box is great...almost like the old instruction pamphlets that came with model kits
So far I really like everything about this tank...even though it is not a "vintage" WWII model

The Tank ................
In my eye...she's a real beauty...all the running gear is metal...included in the package were the metal road wheels ..suspension arms ...metal gearboxes
,,,metal tracks (no rubber ) ...metal sprockets and idlers ...everything is sound...the track tension is perfect to my specs
The only thing wrong is that one of the tracks is off...and the sprocket will need to be removed to realign it
Tested...She ran great at all speeds...took some rough stuff ...and the range is pretty impressive...played until my test battery died
Carpe Diem Gents

Far from being on top of my game Kaiser.... maybe 25 years or so ago lol...but even back then when I was faster and more limber...the idiom of "no matter how good you are...there is always someone better" rung true....the best thing is just not to defeat yourself...and just do the best you can

Here we go again I like it
It was a bargain Kaiser...in my mind anyway...most of the all plastic ones I've seen are in the 179-225 + ship US range...the ones with metal gearboxes tracks and sprocket around 279 - 325 + ship...got this one for less than ten dollars over that with free ship Brand spanking new ...and it arrived in less than 5 days ...What was even better is the seller...got into some dialog with him...as I wanted to be sure everything was metal...the guy was very cool.. attentive and pretty well spoken...guaranteed everything...especially after I mentioned to him the experience I had with another seller...who sent me an all plastic model..when the listing said it was metal...that seller is good...he still sent me the metal parts no charge...but this guy is simply better...his response time to messages was speedy....just like how he made sure the tank got to me

Very nice tank Alpha! It would be nice to have one beside my Leopard.
BUT....
Which seller was it?
What address?
Which country?
Where to contact?
We ALL like good trusty friendly sellers... spread the word.
? ?

So no rubber pads on the tracks like the real one? Wonder if anyone makes them? Nice looking tank Alpha, I remember being in basic training at Ft.Knox and watching them drill, its pretty bad ass to see one of them running at almost 50mph lock up the brakes and skid to a stop and fire its main gun. Or when they'd have like 30 of them on a firing line on a ridge line open fire at night that was REALLY cool!

INSIDE:
Had a little free time...Had to open her up to fix the Track alignment on one side ...removing the top was necessary to access the sprocket
So...the roomy interior
White metal gears....will have to make a cover for these...but they ran fine
Nice roomy bucket...tiny speaker made by Panasonic ...puts out some good sound
Major Change to the upper...cleaner "plug in"...less boards ...no more residual glue
Thats it
