Did some browsing during my down time...one at a Hobby site...and the other on EBAY...Looks like HENG LONG..is Stepping up their game
not only are they slowly converting all their old models to the new 3rd gen 2.4 rigs....they also have New "PRO VERSION" models...the Pro models come with metal bogies..tracks..sprockets and idlers...gearboxes
The tanks available in the "PRO VERSIONS"..is the Abrams...Leo...JagdPanther...Tiger1...and last but not least...the PanTiger :haha: :haha:

The best thing is...they retail for less than the low end Taigens

HAPPY TANKING GENTS

ALPHA

PS. If they do come out with the Challie..I'm going to wait...not sure about any of you...but if they do what they did with the Abrams...think the wait would be worth it ;)

I have a 3rd generation board (with the very short antenna wire coming out) in my Leopard and that's not a Clark board.
It's just a 3rd generation RX-18.
But it's a cool board and transmitter with everything proportional.
Very very slow driving and turret rotation possible.

?

Good Morning,
It is Taigen. I saw a video on it. That doesn't mean that HL won't be getting in on the action. Those Manufacturers are all in bed with one another over there.

You also have to remember most taigen are coming with metal chassis and the metal tracks sprockets and idlers are much more accurate!

TK
Don't think so Kaiser...the RX is the same one as the 2nd Gen that has the volume and smoke built so it can be controlled by the Tx
Didn't see any specs on it...just know that's what HL is doing :D

IMO...think it's a great move...though the models cost a bit more...it's still saves time and money purchasing all the accessories individually ;)

Kiaser wrote:Right I was just reading that the rx18 board was being replaced maybe it is Taigen ??? with a deal with Clark to supply Tk boards ???
It's really about time Taigen improved their RX...if they are going the route of the Clark...It'll be a big improvement for enthusiasts...Just remember..that move will push the price of a Taigen closer to that of a Tamiya (which they are pretty close to now on their deluxe models)

With that said...IMO...Taigen doesn't want to improve their RX because they really can't ..HL already beat them out on the remote controlled sound and smoke..so they would just be copying them :haha:
