Hi all.....haven't been on for a bit and thanks for all your answers on my previous issues. Work has been hectic....so got home a while ago and thought I would try to fix me Tiger. The faults are all down to me the BB gun is knackered and the elevation part I removed due to a lose wire....all the cogs fell out and now I haven't a clue what goes where ! I've tried all ways round and when I put the turret back together the barrel just flops about......any ideas. I've looked on ebay for spares and even Taigen but can't find replacement.

OK...Need to break it down...sounds like you have a problem with the gun...Not firing???...The gears in the elevation unit pretty much fit only one way...disassemble it again and do it slowly...the wire...check your solder points...the one the wire dislodged ( clue: usually there is some "point" of solder or a bit of protruding wire) from is probably where it needs to go ...reassemble and test the unit

Hi ALPHA......I've tried all ways, and there is a spring that I've put back on a shaft.....just won't work lol......maybe I've lost a bit....so frustrating. The gun just makes a grinding noise when fired. I'll try again. The sad thing is the tank was working perfect......even went camping with my wife and kids....took it with us and it trundled round in long grass....gravel and had lots of people looking at it

OK Jeman...don't Panic lol.... the gun is basically a low end airsoft mech...pretty easy if you take your time...check all the teeth of the gears also the gears on the piston pull back rod...if any are worn...that's the reason for the grinding...not sure which spring you are talking about...inside the mech there is one good sized spring (can't miss it) that sits behind he piston ...one for the pawl mech on the bottom (V shaped...one side presses against the wall of the unit...the other on the pawl lock..this keeps the whole shebang from running in reverse ..it is very fine ..easily lost )...outside there is one that actuates the contact points that activate the sound and recoil
Doing this troubleshoot from memory...a picture of the spring you are having problems with might help

OH... I forgot to mention..make sure your rubber parts are intact...and that your barrel "bunting"...is seated properly..or your bb will exit crooked or not at all
This is the bunting it is the rubber tube that helps seal the barrel to the hop up or gun mech

if it is torn...it's no good...you will need a replacement...which isn't too bad...putting a urethane (available at any airsoft shop) bunting will seal better than the stock version

Thanks so much for the great info Alpha ! I will be looking into the BB issue ASAP, but spent time yesterday fiddling with the elevation gears but no joy I've tried them in various positions and just doesn't work. I have a horrible feeling that a part has gone missing in the process ! I have looked on the Taigen home page under spare parts but can't see the elevation part on there. The BB mechanism I've left in place for now, due to my failure to sort out the elevation lol....I'll keep you posted and once again thanks for the help

Kaiser me buddy from OZ ! I've done it again lol. I have put the turret back together, just to make it look like a tank again ! The annoying thing is the tank has been running perfect....then I decided to fiddle with the BB mechanism, then found a loose wire, thought it came from the Elavation mechanism....and hay presto....they are non runners.... Once it's sorted I'm not going to fiddle with it ever again....I've promised my wife....who keeps saying JUST LEAVE IT ALONE ! Why didn't I listen lol. Hope your all good bud

I think the Heng Long elevation unit will work..pretty sure the mounting and plug is the same for the BB model ...those are pretty easy to find too..think I have a few spares..but I'm here on that rock called Oahu
