It was bound to happen, only thing I didn't upgrade and it went today.

Anyone know where I can find replacement tensioner arms for my Torro hull? I looked on their site and no luck. rctanksde sells an entire idler tensioner that's steel and stainless steel for my tank and to be honest I'm considering it if its stronger then the stock set up was. Snapped the right side idler mount clean in half, seems it didn't take kindly to gravel. Oh well been almost a year since I started pounding on it guess it couldn't go forever. Anyone know where I can get the arms? I can't seem to find them

Jack,
Here are a couple of things I found that should work:
http://www.etoarmour.com/product_detail ... ctID=HT054
http://www.rctank.de/HQ-Kingtiger-metal ... igen/Torro
regards,
Painless
P.S. The only other thing that I could locate browsing during Break were complete lower hulls but those were fairly pricey...

Painless, Thank you! I have found the arms I need however it would appear rctanksde has changed their ordering page since I last purchased from them and this new system isn't nearly as user friendly as before. Leave it to the Germans to over complicate things.
Never mind, my stupidity shinning through is all.
Ordered! My KT should be up and running in 2 weeks!

Well I brought the KT into the workshop (kitchen counter) and was able to fit a set of Tiger I tensioner arms to my King Tiger until the replacements arrive. The arms aren't quite as long by about a 1/8 inch which has moved the idlers upward by that 1/8 inch, now while a 1/8 inch may not sound like very much it closes the gap above the tracks at the lower hull by that 1/8 inch which means it REALLY doesn't like gravel or much crap to get kicked up between the tracks and the hull. So no more park until the new arms get here it's stuck in my yard and neighborhood so it doesn't break itself again.

Well Mr Jack, I guess using it like its intended has a side effect of breakdowns. Honestly Im surprised you have not had an electronic failure being as you frequent rivers & all mate
Perhaps one of Mr Hugills submarines would be your next best option eh !!
