I know a lot of you use it and with great success so I went out and got some, the fine white version I hope that's the correct one. Anyway I read how to make the weld lines so I'm going to have at go at that tomorrow wish me luck!
But I also seem to remember reading you can use it to simulate the cast effect for the mantel and cupola but I can't remember how I go about doing this, can anyone help me with any details please? Also on a mid production Tiger would anything other then the cupola and mantel get this cast effect done to it? Also any hints, tips or tricks on doing weld lines would be most welcome as well.
Thanks in advance!

Here's a Mid Tiger cupola. The cast effect is quite subtle.
The mantlet, the heavy exhaust covers and the un-machined part of the sprocket, are the castings.

Jnewboy, never heard of it. I'll have a look and see if I can get it here in the states.
David, thank you! Now how do I get the Milliput to look that way?
I guess I could always just use chalk layered up and painted if I can't find out what to do with the Milliput.

I live in California and can get it on ebay, it comes in two jars you mix 50/50. It is perfect for this and doing Zimmerit.

Hello
In my koti i did the cast texture and the zimmerit with milliput superfine white
To do the casting i used acetone and an old thootbrush
put a bit of milliput in a littel recipient and pour acetone over it
Use the brush to convert it in a paste and then with the point end of the brush fibres put it over the place
Is easy to do it than to explain it...
