hello everyone

i was wondering if anyone can give me some tips ect, as some of you know i had a problem with the gearbox stand offs on my tiger, then it blew a gearbox too, i have the parts on their way, with great thanks to rob (fv342) and dave (forgebear) for supplying me with the parts too. so while the tiger is in bits i was thinking off fitting a metal floor either the full length or just under the gears and use brass tube as stand offs, what would be best to do also what metal thinkness ect, any pics or ideas please, i thought that adding metal floor would help with support ect.

thanks

hi trev
Went this route the first time round on my tiger build then they brought out the asiatam lower half and if im honest i would buy this if you can

its expensive when you first think about it but what you get is tamiya quality suspension system
adjustable rear idlers a plate to bolt your gearboxes to and a nice plastic tray to hold your battery and electronics

if after that you still want to go the DIY approach check out my tiger build

Kind regards rob
