Like to ask if anyone knows what type of Engine was fitted in the leopard 1A4. And if so what tamiya MF/TO units would I need. That's if they make them??. Just got myself a nice Leo from eBay . So any info would be of great help. Brian...

Diesel v10 and don't think tamiya did a sound unit for it.

Kv1 isn't a turbo diesel.

Yep that great. Have you still got it? looks very nice. I want to keep as much of the original tank as possible. The one I got has been refurbished and has had very little use. As said, its a 37 ltr turbo charged V10. It's ludicrously loud and the turbo whine is equally vocal. I saw one going round the arena at bovington and it drowned out the weed wacker in the T55 and didn't even notice the Scorpion.
