Hello all just won a 1/24 T90 from a dealer on eBay for just over a tenner. It's faulty only one track works going forwards but works fine in reverse any ideas on what the problem could be? Maybe a loose wire or the control board? Anyone familiar with these who could possibly throw me a few pointers I would be most grateful.

Sounds like one of the mosfet on the control board has failed hence only works in one direction.

Not certain what electronics are in the tank but I'm sure not too difficulty to fit an rx18

Just had a thought its 9.6 v will that bother a rx18?

Nope I use to run a rx18 on 9.6v as the smoker worked better.

It's arrived!!! Got home and there's a box waiting¡!! Will post some pictures later neat little thing.

Unfortunately my bloody son has borrowed my camera for his Holiday without permission so no pics for a while. But the dealer was honest does everything perfect except going forward fast little bugger as well. So I'm on the look out for a new control board for it..,.or if I can get it past the Mrs I'll get an ibu for the tiger and transfer the old 2.4 Taigen into the type 90

If you bring it along to the next meet I have a couple of 1/24 tigers that both had a simliar problem. I ordered some of them mosfet's ( 20 off each cost £2.50 f0r 20 of each delivered) If they are the same ones (little square black things with 3 legs) I can let you have a couple.
