:haha: You guys are gonna like this one! So I'm on You Tube the other day and I come across a video for a King Tiger that was restored and then I see some of the comments, absolutely PRICELESS!

The first one I like is some guy who basicly said the KT was nothing but a pile of scrape junk that never could run. :haha: He's just a Soviet hater and I can certainly understand why but he was funny.

Next comment I loved was a guy telling everyone that Zimmeret was applied using WELDING RODS! :haha: I posted that it was little more then basicly a concrete mixture paste and he told me I was wrong that it was welding rod! :haha: I told him Wikipedia is his friend if he doesn't know what he's talking about, I wonder if he'll bother to go do some research. I mean what would the point of putting zim on if it was nothing more then more metal from welding rods? :haha:

Anyway if anyone wants a good laugh check out some of these comments.

Or am I just being mean and should let them continue with their delusions?

Good Morning,
If it can be done without making the other fellow feel small then by all means educate. David the Tiger Tank Guru does it in here all of the time. The recipient of said knowledge has to see it as beneficial to his own sphere of influence ( i.e. he won't be seen as foolish the next time he holds forth on some subject near and dear to his heart ). I just look at it like if I think I know everything, how will I ever learn anything new?
regards,
Painless

I edited my reply as it may have come off harsh if you don't know me.

Jack,
I'm the last person to ask about being mean spirited as I am frequently told that I am an angry old man. ;o) If you changed your posting to ameliorate the way you came across, I'm sure that no harm was done and some good will result.
regards,
Painless

Jack I fear I do not suffer fools gladly and that is proven by the condemnation I have often received when I point out the failings of a contributer.
I have what appears to be an ever rarer quality, Honesty. :lolno:
I would offer this suggestion if you elect to comment on the words and deeds of others, Be big, Be trained in the Martial arts, and be thick skinned and finally do make sure you know what you are talking about :haha: shaun
