Thanks BM I've been doing alot now in the 1/6th stuff. Was doing alot of German figures but after getting the Stuart I've kind of turned traitor and switched over to Canadian ww2 figures. I'm waiting for a 1/6th 21C Jeep to arrive and do up as a Hasting and Prince Edward Regiment Jeep. My figures are Hasty P's all but 3 that crew my Stuart which are 1st Hussars. I was with the Hasty P's from 74-79 so you can see my interest on my unit's war time roll.

Hey Harold I got to see a bunch of the 1/6 jeeps that a guy had that I bought my first stuart from.He lived about 40 miles from me so I went and picked the tank up in person. He had a lot of the 1/6 jeeps and he was selling them on ebay at the same time I happened to buy the tank from him.Got to tell ya they are some very neat jeeps.A lot of detail in some of them. They also command some pretty good prices for the older models, but I can appriciate why guys collect them.
That is a great looking KT and looks to be in fantastic condition.

Nice work so far Pzrwest. Are you going to extend the wings over the tracks out to the hull to stop all sorts of crud getting it the tank hull ?. I have on my Matorro KT just used some styrene. Keep the thread running as I am more than happy to see if you come up with any alternative ideas on improving the Matorro KT. All the best for now

Update....
I removed the small tab on the inside barrel end of the muzzlebrake from Stellamodels I ordered and then I chucked the aluminum inner Matorro airsoft barrel in a drill and then turned down the end about 5/16" back from the end till it would slide inside the muzzel brake, here are the pics of the muzzlebrake and one with the barrel turned, muzzlebrake and fishing rod barrel

the next three pics are of the parts as I dry fitted them together. Turned out pretty good

And the work continues

If you are talking about the muzzlebrake I got it here
http://www.stellamodels.net/catalog/pro ... ts_id=3150 they also have them for the TigerI and the Panther. it says for the Tamiya tanks but as you can see they can be used for HL and Matorro if you think a little and come up with a solution.

Update:
I have now added the sponson extensions, re-positioned the cooling fan, it interfered with the airsoft unit, and added crossbraces made from some old sections of sprue. I added an extra switch to turn the smoker unit on and off underneath the jack block for easier access. I modified the smoker unit by adding an extra inlet for adding smoke fluid rather than useing a Y pipe to the exhaust stacks. I put a stock HL speaker unit in the tank instead of the other one I did have there as it interfered with the turret rotation motor. I'm hopeing my paint order will be here Monday to start painting the tank. Here are the latest pics
