the digger was already gone, so we had to fill the last meter by manual means

tomorrow we will continue the groundworks, there is a lot of rocks and dirt to clean before making the ground elevations for the hills, mountains, roads, the town...

hello,

yesterday we did good advances on the works at the Panzodrom, we managed to assemble five club members at 0900. We then set out to clear the river banks from ground, dirt
and stones, and to carry and distribute the land all over the west bank, were most of the defensive positions will be located. It was a hard job and by 1700 we were absolutely dead tired.

here we are clearing the river banks from the ground that the excavator left while digging the river bed.

we have yet to create ground volume and to make the terrain forms, but as it's now would be the start point.

here making the wood steps from an old telephone pole for the main access:

and placing them in place

on the rear part of yard we haven't yet started to clear the stones ans to make the forms, but you can see that the ground would be not level, we want it uneven and with a lot of undulations, except for the main road

Image

at the evening, after the day works were finished, the yard was looking very different, you can compare these pics with the firsts ones from this post and the difference is substantial, after cleaning the river banks and distribute the ground excess. Maybe you cannot see too clearly the details because by chance the tree's shadows match almost exactly the river's course!

that's all for this update

thanks for watching.

best regards
