Pete the F2 was the first of the long barrel guns then G,h, and J if you are going to build it with skirts then it will be a G or H the muzzle break on the F2 was the rounded type

Hi Rivetcounter thanks for the info it will have schurzen when I work out how to cut the rear bin on the turret at the moment it will foul the schurzen so may have to pinch recoil unit from panzer 3 and fit new bin then put home made recoil unit in panzer 3 cant afford another recoil unit so I am copying a converted gun unit to recoil will be testing later today if it works only have to buy the rear bin, then can make the schurzen and gun barrel its all depending on the converted gun .If I get it working will post how to do it have made a few mods to the german design so hopfully it will work better should even manage to fit in flash so when gun is fully back it flashes have it all running through the old grey cells but nothing writen down .the muzzel brake onthe G&H versions is that the one that looks a bit like the tiger.

Hells Bells Pete you've been having a buying frenzy lately. Sounds like you've got a lot of fun ahead. Glad to see you're getting into the spirit of moving the wheels to a more correct location.

p.s. ordered my 2 stugs today. Have you any plans to fit schurzen to your Stug.

Nick

Hi Nick sure have love that schurzen the Stug shouldnt be a problem but the panzer4 have already spotted a problem its th rear bin because the panzer4 has high side armour it will foul so I am going to rob the recoil unit that I bought for the panzer 3 and fit it in the panzer4 then can fit new bin to panzer 4 and the recoil unit I made today from a BB gun to the panzer 3 my Sherman hasnt arrived yet should be here tommorrow that means I have 4 tanks to modifie and finish Stug III panzer 4 Sherman and the toe crusher tiger .

Hi Pete,
I'm still thinking through my plans with my stugs...Schurzen fitted to one sounds like a good idea and between you and septon I should be able to make a good job of it.
Do you know if Stug's featured in Normandy 1944 and if so do you have any colour schemes you could offer me.

Many thanks,

Nick.
