Can't take any credit fo this observation saw it on another site ( Now I can't find it to give the author his due ). Has anyone noticed that if you leave your RC tank on display the suspension soon starts to sag. More so if you have added lot's of metal extras. Apparantly the answer to this little problem is to make some polystyrene or hard foam packaging supports that you slide under the tank body while it's stood idle to take the weight off the suspension springs, reducing the loading on the springs. Also a good idea to make some sort of a tray that the tracks slot into for when the tank is being transported I would think. I will be using this idea as soon as I get some polystyrene/hard foam. Now that is a good idea. How about having a wooden base such as MDF and then fix a polystyrene block in the centre thats thick enough to hold the roadwheels off the floor. This should also hold it when travelling and the foam will absorb most of the vibration while travelling.
