Hi gang, well chuffed with this one, hope you all approve ;D. Some rough finished pics of my Factory fresh( ish ) M113. Nic s planning a roughed up one hence its cleanish appearence. Just need to fit the ESC's and she's away. Turn up the sound for the video clip its worth it!  Smoke is from a small graupner 6v unit. Figures from ebay US, flag from a new forum member who knows who he is and id just like to say thanks for all his help publicly.

Il post some better pics when the weather clears up and put em on the crispyandtherocketman.com web site

Looks great Rocketman, all it needs now is a name painted on it and heaps of red dust.

Hiya

The base model cost me £30 off evilbay. Same for the crew, set of four abot £30 from baron vlad in the US evilbay. Dont come with crew helmets though they had to be scratchbuilt and arms etc modified. The smoker is a little 6v GRAUPNER unit, just do and ebay search for this name and smoke. Cost was £16.

Weathering: all my models are light weathered as I dont like heavy weathering but prefer to add  reall stuff from the outings, just personal taste thats all, plus Crispy is the exact opposite and I know he'll be dumping tons of Red mud on his so this way you get a before and after effect. Also there is a fair amount of weathering on the side skirts and running gear it just doesnt show in the pics.

well as i said before great afv ;D ;D ;D, i'll have a look for those figures on evil bay, and the graupner smoke will be more reliable than the hl version.

Looks great brov. That mp3 fits just right inside the rear door like that. Speakers work well too. Shame the smoker makes so much noise, sounds like my old 2 stroke bike ;) puts out as much smoke too  ;D Is that just the small tube type ones you showed me? Loads of smoke from such a small unit. Figues look really good.

Oh heck I suppose i'd better put the StuG down and finish my M113 and the Bulldog for the photo shoot then ::)

Cheers lads

Ok heres the little smoker  350164791410

heres the figures ( they are currently reduced!)  200208990916

Im sure once the apc is running outside teh smoke will dissapate more and the noise will be hidden by the engines so Im not worried about the 2- stroke effect you see on the vid

Ive searched ebay .uk, .com and .de and no luck on the M113 lads sorry. Last year on  ebay .com they were going for £20 a pop in the US.
