Does the Taigen system allow you to use Lipo without mods?

I have a 1/16 Tamiya RC that i wanted to upgrade but was unsure what to use.

I also picked up one of the new Asiatam 1/16 metal Kubels at Dortmund that is very nice. Asiatam should have the board for that available in the next 2-4 weeks which has lights, sound & motion and works with Lipo.

When I was modifying my Sd.Kfz 2 I found some info about rear notek light block - the left red section was for rear light and had a clear glas window on the bottom for lighting number plate. The right section was made with orange section for the brake signal... Hope this info could be usefull...
