T34/76 1942

Hi all,
Just want to post some pics of my latest project. It is a somewhat rare (RC side anyway) T34/76 1942. The lower chassis is the excellent Taigen metal chassis with all metal wheels/bogies/tracks, mated to a HL upper which has all the hardware (quick release, electronics for light and MG and rotation unit) with a Trumpeter T34/76 1942 static turret. Amazingly enough all the upper bits from the Trumpeter kits fit perfectly onto the HL upper, even the turret ring was basically the exact same size as the HL turret cog. The turret is equipped with a servo recoil and servo elevation, with the barrel coming from MG Modellbau. Because the Trumpeter is a full interior kit, I was able to use some of the interior parts as you can see in the last two pictures, for the driver's hatch and also the interior of the turret. This is my favourite variant on the T34s, and will get a full weather/paint treatment from the pro (dgsselkirk).
