I noted it said HL etc, but I see some folks having issues getting parts to fit from Taigen on to HL so I just wanted to be sure

It's cause H/L and Taigen use 2 different ways to hold those wheels on. Your H/L has screws that hold the wheels to plastic arms. Taigen uses an axle pin that is held into their metal arms by a hex head set screw.
Most places now sell a wheel set that contains both the screws and axles so you can fit them to either the H/L or Taigen chassis.

Those fit either so they should have both in the kit.

Bit odd really, if you read the description it says not suitable for the standard heng long hull

If it says that then it DOES NOT come with the screws. You should be able to reuse the one that came on the tank if not you'll need new screws.

Uhhhhh...... yeah I went to the link and to the details and these come pre fitted with the axles, these won't fit a H/L suspension that uses axle screws to hold the wheels on. The ad is wrong! Can you retract your bid? If not your going on want to contact the seller and ask them what's up with that ad as its wrong.

If you can't stop the sale and get them and find you can not use them I'll buy them from you for what you paid for them, just let me know. But good luck I hope I'm wrong but I don't think that I am.

Looking at the pictures in the listing the wheels look like they have the straight pins, the only way I can see them fitting the standard heng long hull is this, buy the metal suspension arms, drill them to accept the wheel pins/axles, drill the side of the arm with a 2.5mm drill and tap the hole with a 3mm tap, secure the arms with m3 grub screws. Just an idea it may work or it may not, I've done this before but on the older heng long tiger that used the thin pins as axles, heng long and taigen parts don't always mix and you can end up buying one thing after another.

All he needs to do is go to Mato and look under Tiger metal upgrade parts and he can get these.... Image

Take apart the road wheels and putt he screws in. But I'm thinking he SHOULD be able to re-use the screws that came with his Tiger that held the early wheels on, he'd still need to take apart the new ones but then he could replace the axle pins with his old screws and he should be good to go. I haven't seen any different part numbers anyplace for early or late model road wheel screws or pins so I;m thinking they are the same.

Silver, don't forget you'll need to get the late model idler wheels too to work with your late model road wheels, tracks too.
