Just shows how self absorbed people are with their own lives and couldn't care about anyone or anything else. Sad isn't it!

The most frightening thing is that these people get a driving licence and drive like it......and they breed.......

I have lived in my house now 15 years and know about 5 on the block. The neighbor next door has lived here since 1948 and she said over the years she has known less and less people on the block. All the 3ft. high fences between the backyards are now replaced with tall walls. Most people on the block are to busy to even say Hello. Whats that old saying; The world is going to Hell in a hand basket.
mickyb, Try driving here in Los Angeles California. Now body exists on the road, but them. Lane change, out of my way, no flasher cause you are not suppose to be there. My road! Very poor, immature mentality. You don't know how many times I got the finger for being in their way. When I was in England visiting my Uncle I was fascinated by the road and traffic set up. The round a bouts ( I think that's what there called) is a very cleaver way to guide traffic with out stopping. Saves a lot of fuel. Here we can sit up to 4 minutes burning fuel waiting for the light to change.

Hi, I agree with what you say about traffic. People seem to enjoy the agrivation and often go out to cause trouble. My aunt was here from Nova Scotia a month ago...she was horified at the agression on our roads.
Roundabouts are ok, but some towns have so many of them they are a nuisance. They cause a lot of tyre wear and in rush hour can back up a lot.
Isnt it realy sad that all over the world people are getting selfish and isolated. I am lucky where I live , although the fences are high, and our housing estate is very quiet, I have a couple of good friends close by...one is from New Zealand, the other is from France......but this website proves that there are still great people out there all over the world. So I guess our numbers are small but we are strong in character
Have a great evening Mike
