yup.
i am slowly building the FCM F1 from scratch.
since i have made a sketchup model built earlier and recently updated with more details to it and corrected the tracks and i tried my best to use available references and existing blueprints and photos of the mockup vehicle

which the model i uploaded can be downloaded here in sketchup's 3d warehouse:
https://3dwarehouse.sketchup.com/model. ... b549b21dc1
and my very recent acquisition of a decent 3D printer, i am starting the project by building the track pieces which are 85 links each sides and in total of 170 links.
this is an earlier image and right now im doing a production run of 4-10 links per printing run

Its amazing what you can do nowadays with a 3d printer....not sure I could get my head round the tech. Good luck with this I shall be following with interest.

thankyou sir, and only thing slowing down the production here is model shops surprisingly have lack of the tamiya pla plate needed to construct the hull

An ambitious project you've got there.

well its something to start with and i dont see much of french tanks being RC and in 1:16 scale.
it was that choice of either making this one OR that russian 1942 heavy tank cruiser that had 4 T-34s merged together to one larger hull

I don't think there is much of a market for them I'd guess. The Char B1 and S35 - in fact all French tanks up to the AMX30 are all quite odd shapes making them quite unique and probably not that easy to make. If you're making an FCM F1 it won't be too hard to reuse some of the plans to make a B1 or D1 though.

currently working on the driving gear's teeth to mesh with the track pieces, it seems i forgot to update and recalculate the the pitch of the teeth to come to meet with the track links *facepalm*
and im not much good on maths when it comes to area calculating on the angle with the circumference
