Wire strippers

I have always hated the wiring in 1/16 Tanks, whenever I tried to strip the plastic from the core because the cable is so flimsy I nearly always cut the darn cable in half,
I saw a self Adjusting Wire Stripper/Cutter on sale from
http://www.componentshop.co.uk
and it really is brilliant, it has a knurled knob on the back which allows you to adjust the cutter, and since I bought it, I have always ended up with a clean wire core ready to solder or whatever. shaun

I've got a cheapo set of those - same principle but without the pre-adjustment. They work really well on cable's that aren't so fine but wont touch the finer stuff. Like the look of those.

Like I said it has changed my attitude to wiring in my Tanks, I get a clean cut everytime without losing a single strand of wire. They come without instructions and do need setting up but it's a doddle . Highly recommended. shaun

I'll have to look for them here Shaun, thanks. Now, is there a tool that will hunt down and fix all of the cold solder joints in these tanks. :haha:
