just bought the above hull and noticed there's a small wire attached to the little plug for the power that plugs into the main board, can anyone tell me what it's for please

It's for the turret, it's the negative lead for the gun recoil or so I believe

sponge is right, it is specifically for the Asiatam recoil unit. If you are not installing it or know what it is then you don't need it. Nice that they include it now.
