I'm Tony from Exeter, UK.

New to RC tanks, ordered off e-bay a Heng Long M41A3 Bulldog Airsoft Tank, received it yesterday and having to send it back as BB gun stop working after firing two shots! Have also ordered a Heng Long Tiger Tank - PRO VERSION again from e-bay Hobby Power, so hopefully this one will be ok, should arrive tomorrow.

Probably should have looked here first, as I really like the look off the Taigen all metal tanks, if I decide to go for a Taigen, should I go for a Tiger, T34 or wait for the new Sherman to arrive in the UK?

Seem to be already hooked!

Hi Tony welcome to the forum. I have a Taigen metal upgrade tiger myself and I thoroughly recommend them you will be happy whichever you choose

Tony Hallo, The very first thing you must do is scroll down to the "BLACK LIST" and avoid these people at all costs, then read the "RECOMMENDED DEALERS list" where you will find the people we buy from, Hobby Power are on the approved list and if you do have a problem you must tell them straight away. And please keep us aware of how the matter is dealt with. Any questions please ask. shaun

Yes thanks I have now looked at the "RECOMMENDED DEALERS list"

I see from skimming through the forums that Welsh Dragon Models come highly recommended but do they only sell spares?

Tony Hallo again, WDM have recently been going through a period of renovation and yes they will sell you a complete Tank although whereas they would sell you a TAMIYA and just about anything else, they now specialise in TAIGEN Tanks.
They are brilliant dealers who will get the order to you quicker than almost anyone else I can think of.
Here I should mention Dave of FORGEBEAR who does not advertise at all well that he is a dealer in new Tanks and is another jewel in the recommended dealers list, contact him on E-BAY or
theallertons@fsmail.net
these two are rightly recognised as the best in the business.  shaun
