Interesting to have a good but a tank putting out that quantity of smoke on anything but start up is a few seconds away from a fire!

I'm with you on that one Mr Bilpe..............would say its overdue for an engine change and would draw fire from everywhere possible

As an alternative, there's graupner smokers as well. Designed for trains and boats but plenty of choice in size and output.

The Graupner ones can be very small, small enough that individual ones can fit into the Tiger 1 exhausts themselves. Some videos on youtube using them but not seen anyone on here use them.

The smoke generator looks good....just some observations about it...

Its quite large and will occupy a lot of space in the hull....Its also quite an awkward shape.
It still has a heating element in it..but it does have an aluminium case so if there was an internal failure with it overheating then the tank will probably just melt and not catch fire.
It still uses oil...and this can "condense" on the paintwork causing an oily stain.

Hmmmmm...... always looking for a good smoker and another option is always good. I also like the aluminum case as I had a super smoker try to burn my Tiger to the ground so anything that would help my tank NOT turn into a ball of fire is a good thing in my opinion.
I'll let you guys try this one and report back, I've already spent LOTS of money on smokers and am ready to give up on them totally at this point.

Yeah, the reall small ones are meant for 00 gauge trains, which something like 1:72 scale.

You have to watch the train smokers because most of them operate at 12V

I've got four of these and am very happy with their output. Metal box and fan. I tapped into the motor leads with one of them and made it proportional. Ebay purchase, made in Poland. He makes two types, MK I and Mark II, the MK I has the metal box.

Would look good if you could wire the V3 up to kick out smoke onces the tank is disabled
