After nearly breaking off the rear mudflaps of my Leopard 2A6 several times whilst running over obstacles, I decided to modify them to stop this. I thought about cutting them off at the pivot point, where it would be on the full size version, but thought they might get pulled into the tracks and trapped, whilst going in reverse. I therefore cut them further down and stuck a piece of butyl pond liner on the back. They now won't get caught on obstacles, and won't get trapped whilst reversing.
