RC Tank Warfare community hobby forum

A few years ago I borrowed a game from a mate - it was called M1 Abrams I think - on Playstation. It was a battle simulator and you had to complete missions - you weere the driver,the commander and the gunner and you cycled between these positions as necessary - I really enjoyed it.

Do any of you know of any good tank games for Playstation 3 or X BOX 360 please ?

I've been playing the PC version for over three years, not sure how good the xbox version is.

Deff World Of Tanks for Xbox! I have an Xbox 360 and they just announced it will be on the newer Xbox 1 and that all of your tanks, ex points, silver and gold will transfer from the older 360 for use in the new system.

Its been below freezing here for almost the whole month of February so my tanks have just been sitting as its WAY too cold to go outside and run them but World Of Tanks keeps me occupied!

Warthunder on the ps4 or pc is a far better tank combat simulator that WOT. Especially now they've added commander and drivers views (with binoculars). GFX are far better and there is interaction with the aircraft side of the game

Tom, you should check out the GFX on the Xbox 1 the tanks and everything look real! True WOT's isn't a simulater game but DAMN is it fun!

PS4 is out of the Q for me as I son't use the one's I do have enough now. Thanks guys for the comments so far - do I have to subscribe to something to get WOT or can I just buy it ?

You have an Xbox 360? You down load the game, its free. However you can buy a premium membership and doing so allows you to earn more silver and ex points faster and silver and ex points is how you buy new tanks or upgrade the ones you already have. So where you don't NEED to buy a premium membership it does make life easier. Also you can buy gold in the on line store which allows you to buy the memberships, premium tanks, and certain goodies for your tank crews like Coka Cola or tea, or coffee which makes the crew preform better in combat. Also the tank commanders can be upgraded with special skills which again makes the tank perform better.

It may seem like a lot to take in but it really isn't its a hell of a lot of fun. There has been nights when I've played till the sun came back up.

hi there, war thunder on the ps4 is okay but there area lot of cheats on the game and tanks as we know are little like the game versions but you can still have fun. i love my tiger1
