You'd need to get something like a super smoker II and then do some minor surgery by connecting it up to the battery, a switch and one of the motor connections.

Hello Awins, I have been very happy with these smokers. I purchased them from EBAY US. They are made in Poland. As far as installation, I used double sided tape to hold the smoker in place. Also, see my post in the General Discussion Forum Tarr MKi Smoker.

The TARR smokers won't just plug into a Tamiya, it needs to be wired up like a Super Smoker II and would be a challenge to fit inside a Tamiya KT behind the speaker box (I've tried with mine with a TARR - it's just a little to large for the space available above the rear axle and the piping is a pain to put in). One way you could it it is the battery would probably need to be moved to under a sponson with an overhang, place the smoker where the battery normally resides and then put the piping directly through the speaker box and then out the back.

I've seen other Tamiya King Tigers using graupner smokers designed for boats and steam trains but almost always include their own power supply.

I agree on a separate battery and the wiring however stay as far away from super smokers as you can! I and another member here almost lost our Tigers when they caught fire. I have also seen a video of one catching fire in a battle and the tank was destroyed by fire.

If you can't fit in one of the TARR or factory Heng Long style smokers just forget about smoke. It's NOT worth the headache or possibly of losing your tank to fire.
