Axel's Modellbau have these on their web page but they are out of stock. I have had a punt around but can't find any - do any of you know who else does them please ?

Be warned, they take a while to get delivered sometimes but never had issues with ETO, awaiting a delivery from them myself.

I have some of these on a Tamiya King Tiger and to be fair, they're not that great because they're solid resin and it's really hard to make them look like glass. Better than nothing but if you're of the inclination, scratch building with some perspex and brass sheet or very thin plastic card is a genuine alternative.

Thanks very much for that - that's not something that I would have considered but I will try and source some photo's of the real thing and have a think about it.

You might want to check out the Aber website, all their PE set instructions can be downloaded and I think they do a complete periscope set, at least for the Tiger I. Can be used as a reference at least. Might provide some ideas if you choose to scratch build.

The Tiger 1 had two kinds of periscope, vertical and slanted; the slanted ones match the King Tiger, but they did not exist in the Early Tiger 1.

That's a shame but good idea though. I will see if I can source some brass sheet and some perspex then.

What the heck is that? I'm sure it has nothing to do with a King Tiger. I wonder where they got it?
