Here is the new arrival my first tank

Hi all
Just a general show of my tank Heng Long Leopard 2a6 metal had a few test drives (or play as my Wife says) still great fun. Will be carrying out some upgrades soon starting with the hull strengthening have some sheet aluminium for the sides underside and bracing.
Looking forward to any input with ideas for RC, motors, etc will be checking weight as it grows so new legs stronger springs may be required but that’s all the fun to be had, Just watching the little one grow. LOL

Very nice Ivor must be a great feeling I'll be unveiling my tiger 1 later in the week when it arrives from rctank de have fun with it...my Mrs is the same she said earlier "when does the toy tank arrive"

Hi Ivor,
Nice tank, I have one of those as well, HL got it pretty spot on, but there are still lots you can do to improve it, black steel gears, 480 motors, metal tracks, drive sprockets, idlers and road wheels, upgrade electronics IBU or Clark's, fit better speaker, you will need it as the electronics upgrade also has true sound, well that should do for starters!l still loads more you can do.

Great thanks I’ve question for you I posted same but I am looking a gutting the hull and refitting it with aluminium sides bottom and bracing. The question is Torsion or spring on the tank

Ivor,
The Leopard 2A6 has spring suspension, you can fit uprated springs, I think Taigen make them, mine came with the metal road wheels and suspension arms.

They're for the Tamiya Leo 2A6 but plenty of the items could be made to fit a HL Leo2.
