Apparently Takom is bringing out this kit:

Basic math tells me that Ratte is going to be 24.3cm long, 9.56" for all you folk unfortunate enough not to read metric.

If I had the money I would get that kit ASAP and R/C the crap out of it. Instead, I'll just wait here and watch someone else do it.

Apparently this kit will cost about $45, come out some time in February and have photo-etched parts, rotating turrets and movable gun barrels.

Hilter's secret weapon.......... Another thing that kills me is that there is three Maus on the cover and the kit only comes with 2. Its almost like they just ask someone to do the cover with whatever they want and then they decide on what to put in the kit. I mean, does it kill them to just draw two Maus, and maybe include the UFO in the kit ? ;)

The Germans would have had to melt down a few tank platoons to get enough metal to build that sucker.... can't get past that Bismark style turret ...that is definitely one example of Big not being better :haha: :haha: ...they would probably need those UFOs for air cover...that thing is a sitting duck for any air attacks ;)

It was (supposed to be) a modifed Kriegsmarine turret with the middle gun removed so it would have two 283mm SK C/28 L/52 guns instead of three.

Along the lines of the same subject, did you folks ever see this 1/35 build of this thing? Takes up more room on the workbench than a surfboard, I think. http://www.armorama.com/modules.php?op= ... 353&page=1
