Now that was one hell of a demolition job to make sure it didnt fall into russian hands. Wonder how and what they used to blow it into so many lil pieces but full marks to the engineers who did it, they sure followed their orders to the letter.

Allot of explosives! The normal demolition charges would make the tanks unusable, destroy the gun breach and burn it out but nothing as catastrophic as this. I assume they've yet to dig out the larger more intact parts. I think there is a privately owned Tiger in Germany which has been reconstructed out of salvaged parts but these were whole sections of tanks, not fist sized lumps.

Surely there must have been some big bits as well......I bet they were carted off for scrap a long time ago!
