Bruder Cat Dozer

I bought a bruder low loader last month for my truck and it came with a Cat dozer, so this afternoon I converted to RC.

With working lights

Inside with receiver battery and servos.

It works well apart from the rubber tracks slipping on the drive wheel. Also think the 4.8v battery is a bit weak for the job so may change to a 6v.

That's next job is to convert the low loader, so got electric raise/lower ramps and support legs. Already got lighting kit to install and need to lengthen it so can fit a tank on it.

Ian.

I decided to revisit this build and improve on the tracks.

So from my rc tanks spares box I got some plastic tracks and drive sprocket to fit to this project.

The old setup

Change servo adaptor

Drive sprocket added

Tracks roughly held in in place

Wheels cut to accept the tracks centre guide home

Back to the drive wheel and some strengthening
