Hi guys, just joined today but a lifelong modeller. Can I first start by saying that the level of workmanship on members models is awesome, and just reading through the blogs tells me that there is some clever people out there.I've been building models for years and I'll have a go at anything, but I do like my military stuff.Just bought two Heng Long tigers, one new,one for just £30 (no sound/smoke) which I intend to build as a static display. This one was stripped down and while I was waiting for parts,I started on the tracks. These were split into one long run and sprayed with Halfords red primer and then colour washed in oils. After drying for two days imagine my surprise when I found they wouldn't fit.I managed to get them over the wheels but found they were too tight,no sag anywhere and the top run was like a bow string.I used the tracks from the first tank and they are fine.I ended up buying extra track links,so hopefully I'll get my sag back.Anyway, thanks to you guys for sharing your knowledge,I've got loads of new ideas I'm gonna try.Keep on tanking.Regards.

Hi Trackpin,
Welcome to the forum. The tiger1 had 96 links per side that will give you the right amount of sag. . Brian...
