I also found a couple of diagrams, though these relate to the WW1 ammunition.

It's the only image of the cordite charge I have found so far.

That is the 6", mine is the 7.2". The diameter would be 7.2", but I can't see the length anywhere for these?

http://nigelef.tripod.com/72inchsheet.htm This gives the shell details. In the absence of any other data, I would scale up the cordite charge for the 6".

Total gun crew was 13 as I guess it took several just to lift the shell into place. The 6" howitzer had a sort of tray, with 4 lifting handle. Then at least 2 to ram the shell home.

Well this is what I can print. The shells look stumpy compared to the ones in the pic above, but they are scale 7.2" shells, even if the profile isn't right.

The other bits and pieces are copies but sized so that the shells would fit in them, which they won't because they aren't hollow. ;)

Normally the shell is longer than the cart case or often similar.
