Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone had looked into possibly modding an M41 Bulldog turret and mate it with an HL M26 Pershing lower for an M47. I know that he HL Bulldog is a little over scaled which might actually work as a basis for an M47 turret, and the HL Pershing is the Korea War vintage so it would be close to the M47 chassis.

Just a thought.

fynsdad, that's exactly what I had in mind. I will have to do some more research. It would be great if it is just sanding down and texturing the bulldog turret rather than adding to it.

It's an interesting concept Michael...the turret profile is pretty close...the base for sure ...but I think there would be quite a bit of work to be done to the top..maybe raising it a 1/4 inch...but hey...if you did it ..it would really be something

Though maybe if you prod someone with a 3D printer... there might be less pain to the process :haha:

You would also have to completely modify the lower hull as the m47 had the lower hull of the M46 pershing rather than the M26 pershing.

Looks like it will work, with some cutting and shutting on the turret.
