Evening, afternoon, good mornings guys! Basically I have a 9.4v battery that I took from an old (big) RC mini, it seems to connect to the charger and tank perfectly fine and was wondering if it would be worth charging and using? As daft as it seems I was cautious incase it's an issue and could damage the tank in someway? Or should I crack on? Cheers gents! DR

Hi It depends on the electrics in the tank , 9,4v in a heng long or mato will probably blow the board . If its a Tamiya it will take the 9,4 volts but take off like a scolded cat. If it has a IBU it can be programed to run at correct speed.

regards pete

I've ran the RX18 on a 9.6v battery pack and no issues. All the motors run faster but all good.
