The vid is dated August, so I am guessing that they have been making these for a while.

Step by step, HL are improving their tanks, ok, so they aren't £50 any more, but the quality has improved no end, and the variety of tanks that they offer is now large. People might say the RX18 is basic, yes it is, but it also means that it isn't expensive to bin it and fit any one of the aftermarket boards.

If HL designed their own version of the Clark board it would probably add £25 to the cost of a tank, and we we would all have standard IR, the option of airsoft, and excellent sounds. I have no idea why they haven't done it aleady??

I looked at another video by these guys of a MATO all metal Sherman that they are selling that has upgraded sounds. It looks from the video that they are doing these upgrades to these tanks after they receive them from HL, Mato, etc. The recoiling air soft gun , the better sounds, everything is a mod by the seller, not the factory. Still, pretty nice stuff for the money!

Your probably right there Painless, rc tank de also add similar upgrades to their tanks, Clark boards, elmod etc. This is the first time though I've seen any tank for sale with BB and barrel recoil that's why I thought it may be of interest.....

I like the idea, would be nice to know what is in the chassis, like is it an old style with just a new turret?

I would like to see it, did a search online found out the contact is Linda Lee, and Andrew. By the looks of things they have a Chinese contact abroad, good luck to them.

Maybe drop them an email asking if we can see inside the Tiger?

It was of interest Jake. I for one am very happy to see improvements like this being offered. What I am not happy with however is that they're still putting crystal type radio systems in RC tanks when most others (cars, planes, boats) have made the transition to 2.4GHZ. I don't know about Tamiya but Taigen offers 2.4GHZ radios as a standard. Yes, the price is higher, but so are the benefits. Thanks for your post.
