This is not a historical build more of a what if they did use this as a test bed for different turrets etc.

Thoughts / comments welcome.

Merlin,
It is looking grand! Throw some dust and worn metal highlights onto it. ;o) Following along.

Holy crap, you pulled that off fast! Looks really cool and very unique!

As a what-if it's amazing. Honestly it looks like that turret was destined for this hull!

Running gear looks super cool too, thanks for sharing Merlin.

Thanks for the comments guys, will look into doing some weathering but it won't be overly heavy as I want it to be reliable.

Hi Canned The heng long has raised moulded panels at the side where the bogies attach. Only remove the screw in points otherwise the HVSS won't align with the sprockets.
I only epoxy resin these on to the hull and then reinforced with self tapping screws.

Alpha, yes the MG is the Tamiya one. Looks better than the standard one.

Need to look into the turret rotation though as it intermittently fouls and you can hear the gearing slip.
I think it's because there is play in the turret when mounted.

I like it Merlin, very unique. How does it run on the HVSS?

Hi Joe, she runs smooth as anything on the HVSS and really looks smart when taking on uneven terrain.

You get a better sense of the suspension actually doing something and it bulks the tank up.
