Looks good...what are the internals?

RX-14 or -18?  Any fan?  Steel, alloy or plastic gears?  How many teeth on the pinion?

And the most important question:  have you done any speed tests to see if it is at or close to scale speed?

Cool...thanks.

The Bulldog ran at 72 kph (45 mph).  Scale speed is about 2.8 mph (4.5 kph).  Your tank looked like it was moving right along; so, that's why I was wondering if you had clocked it.

Swathdiver has a nice spreadsheet that converts motor speeds, pinion gears and gearboxes into scale speeds.

According to his calculations, with the Speed400s, you could probably get close to scale speed with a 12-tooth pinion.  Or you could jump up to Jamara 480 motors and keep the 10-tooth pinion (just had fan  ;) ).

Tower Hobbies is where I have found them.  But that's on this side of the pond.  I'm sure there are some suppliers on your side of the water.

No problem...who did you get it from?  Would love to broaden my options.  ;)

Thanks...didn't realize that they sold pinions.
