I was told Henntec idler systems have lost favor to people just buying entire taigen hulls...They are rare as hens teeth (Henn's Teeth? ) I have had track throwing problems with my HL King tiger since new. Plastic or metal, makes no difference, the tracks work their way off the rear idlers.



But after a long time thinking about a henntec vs. a whole taigen KT hull for 3 times the cost...I decided even though It is my favorite tank enough is enough...(shoulda bought the super metal version Taigen or Matorro to begin with!!!) I am giving the Henntech a try.

I won't try to speak for Robert of ETO, we had a friendly email discussion some time ago about how ETO sells things. But he is not based in the US or UK, he told me for US buyers he goes through a US retailer, the shipping was only $8. So if you want the Henntec idler system now might be the time. Cost me $58 shipped.

Yeah, I think he lives in Crimea, which has some upheaval. He's pretty reliable but the company he uses to ship takes ages to get to the UK.

I have bought from Bob in the past, indeed it was at the hight of the "Russian"? Invasion of the Crimea which is indeed where he lives, but no problems, his warehouse is in New York!!!!!!!!!!! And that is where the problem lies, the range of products that ETO are selling is large and he sells stuff I have not seen elsewhere BUT for us Brits the killer is the US postal service,I bought a "Ball Mount for a Hull MG to fit a Tiger 1" a lovely piece of engineering but after postage it was nearly £50! So nowadays I visit the site just to find out what is available then look elsewhere for a cheaper rate of postage.shaun

Just spoken to Guido about steel wheels he made for the tiger, apparently he has had an operation on his knee which might explain the lack of stock. Hopefully some new items coming out soon too.

ETO is up again .... last year when I first heard about them ...the site was down

I ordered a few things from him this morning but am a little confused. I received an email from him (maybe automated) showing the items I had ordered. Will he eventually send a final invoice showing shipping charges or how does he/I proceed from here?

Last time I bought from him, he sends a quote and who you pay on paypal. You pay him on that then he sends it out.
